Midscale Hotel Project on Antonovych Street
ArtBuild has completed an Extended Hotel Feasibility Study (EHFS) for a hotel project on Antonovych Street in Kyiv. The client was a Ukrainian investment company; the firm was responsible for the facade design concept and interior design.
The project concept involves the creation of a midscale (upper midscale) hotel with 89 rooms, which, in addition to standard services, will offer an Extended Stay option. The introduction of this option requires additional amenities both in the designated rooms (apartments) and in the common areas. Specifically, the facility’s infrastructure includes a restaurant, conference hall, business center, gym, guest laundry, and grocery store. In addition, the hotel features several common areas that create the homey atmosphere and comfort characteristic of apartments – a lounge area on the 4th floor and a landscaped courtyard with relaxation zones.
The project’s facade solutions were also developed by specialists from ArtBuild. Currently, ABH is developing interior designs that not only meet professional standards for hotel facilities but also embody the concept’s vision of a special level of coziness and comfort, ensuring that every guest feels right at home.
The project concept was developed in accordance with the key requirements for midscale hotels set by Best Western International (BWI), one of the world’s largest hotel chains. As of October 2012, a Letter of Intent (LOI) was signed between the project’s client and BWI regarding the inclusion of the property in the Best Western Plus hotel group. Thus, this will be the first midscale Hotel & Residences property in Kyiv under the international Best Western Plus brand, offering a full range of services for Ukrainian and international business travelers.
