Hotel Categorization as a Licensing Requirement

Under Ukrainian law, casinos may only be opened in 4- or 5-star hotels (depending on the region and type of license), while slot machine halls may be opened in hotels rated 3 stars or higher. A gambling business license will not be issued without official confirmation of the hotel’s category.
