On the 14^th of September, the annual Hospitality Forum organized by the Ukrainian Real Estate Club took place at the President Hotel in Kyiv. ABHG was both the General Sponsor as well as took part in organizing the keynote speakers and theme of the event. Speakers at the conference included market leaders in hospitality real estate, banks, and private investment corporations: Vladimir Goraschenko (Double W), Irina Pshenna (Vertex Hotel Group), Dejan Djordjevic (ESTA Holding), Sebastian Kraemer (Reikartz Hotel Management), Aleksei Evchenko (ArtBuild Hotel Group), Daniel Bilak (CMS Cameron McKenna), Andrey Brynzylo (UniCredit Bank), Vladislav Bayraka (Bank of Cyprus), Yuriy Kryvosheya (Toronto-Kiev), Anton Andrianov (ISTIL Real Estate), Alexander Abramovich (Hanroc Development), Daron S.            For the first time in Ukraine a hospitality conference focused on real issues both positive and negative in the market as opposed to general issues concerning the hospitality industry in Ukraine. Topics discussed were: what issues do current players in the market face on a daily basis; strategy of development companies, operators, and owners in key projects; government initiatives to facilitate hotel development and how effective they are for attracting and facilitating investment/development;  what are the options for Ukrainian hospitality projects to raise capital; the legal aspects of contractual obligations between owners and operators in Ukraine. Guests could engage the speakers on controversial topics in the hotel development and operational sphere making for a lively and entertaining forum.
